Introduction
Hey everyone! as you may know already my name is Italia Mendez, I'm a senior here at EIU, and I'm a community health major. I'm a real chill person, I like to stay in and watch movies but I also have some exciting nights with my friends. I chose food safety as my topic because someone took mine, but food safety is important to know about. Cleaning around your cooking area, making sure not to cross contaminate, and knowing what temperature to keep your food can help your health. I hope you guys enjoy my blog!

ReplyDeleteFood safety is still an interesting subject because there is a lot of information we need to know. Being in college, we are growing up and soon we will be living on our own and knowing how to prepare our own food is necessary. We need to know how to prepare our own food so we don't make ourselves sick.

Hey Italia! Food safety is super important so I am glad you chose to write about this topic as your second choice. I know I took foods classes in high school and learned about food safety, but many people do not know too much information on this topic. It is so important to learn about this for people who do not usually cook for themselves and especially because we are in college and we are learning to live and do stuff on our own. I am excited to read more about food safety topics!

It's really good and cool that you are doing your blog on food safety, because food safety is very important and everyone should be knowledgeable about food safety. People lives could be really impacted if they have any food safety knowledge or not.
